How to Connect Firestick to Roku TV

Amazon Fire Stick and Roku TV are the two best streaming devices used by millions of people around the world. Both offer a huge collection of channels and apps. Apart from streaming devices, a lot of Smart TVs are coming with Fire OS and Roku OS. If you want to use your Firestick device on Roku TV, you can connect it with the HDMI port.

How to Connect Firestick to Roku TV

[1] On your Roku TV’s HDMI port, plug in the Amazon Firestick device.

[2] Navigate to the Settings menu and choose TV Inputs.

[3] Followed to that, select HDMI Port > Set Up Input. You will see the HDMI icon on your Roku TV home screen.

[4] For easy identification, you can rename the Firestick. For that, go to Settings > TV Inputs > HDMI.

[5] You will get a list of three options: Rename, Remove, and HDMI Mode.

[6] Choose Rename and select Edit Custom name & icon. Then, click the Continue button.

[7] Enter the name you want and tap OK. If you want, choose an icon for the Firestick device.

[8] Once done, go back to the main screen and you will find the new Firestick icon. Select it and use your remote to access it.

[9] Now, you have to set up the Firestick device on your Roku TV.

[10] After completing the setup, you can use the Firestick device.

How to Set Firestick to Turn On By Default on Roku TV

If you want to use Firestick as your primary device on Roku TV, you can do that by modifying the Roku TV settings. To do so,

[2] Choose System and select the Power option.

[3] Tap the Power On menu and choose Firestick.

[4] Now, you can use the Firestick remote to turn on/off the Roku TV.
