Error codes in OTT platforms are pretty much common these days. Disney Plus error code 90 is one such code and usually appears due to a fault in a network connection or account issue. How to Resolve Disney Plus Error Code 90
[1] Restart Your Device
Try restarting your streaming device may fix the Disney+ Error code 90. For instance, if you have the Disney+ on Firestick, close the app and launch the app again from the home screen. It will help you restart the app and fix minor glitches at once.
[2] Power Cycle
Power cycling will help in removing all temp files and fixing the issue. Turn off the device and unplug all the wire connections. Keep the device idle for 10-15 minutes. Then, turn on the gaming console. This will power cycle the device.
[3] Try Different Network
You can try to use a different WiFi network sometimes, the problem might be on your home network. So, disconnect your streaming device from the network and connect it to a different internet connection. Now, launch the Disney Plus app and check if it is working or not.
[4] Log Out of Disney Plus Account
You can sign out of your Disney Plus account from all the devices and sign in to the account again after a few minutes. After signing in, see if the issue still persists. Make sure that you are not exceeding the simultaneous device count.

It is recommended not to use VPNs for geo-restricted streaming platforms. Disney+ content is restricted in certain regions and when you try to stream it to your location, it will result in error code 90. Try to avoid VPN connections when streaming Disney+. This may lead to serious consequences like suspending or banning your account.
[7] Edit Router Settings
IPv6 or firewall on the router is also the reason for the error code. To fix the error, you can change the router settings.
- You need to click the Windows key in the Command prompt.
- Right-click on the command prompt and select Run as Administrator.
- Enter the following: ipconfig
- You will get the result. Here, note the address of the default gateway.
- Now, open the web browser and go to your router’s web portal.
- Log in with your details and click on the Settings option.
- Select Advanced Settings and navigate to the IPv6 tab.
- Click the drop-down of Internet Connection type and select Disabled.
- Now, open the Disney plus 90 and see if the error code 90 still appears.
