How to Install Kodi on Xbox One: From Xbox Store
Step 1: Turn on the Xbox console. And then connect it to the internet.
Step 2: Now, from the Xbox main menu, click on the Search bar. Or open the Xbox Store and click the Search bar.
Step 3: Start typing Kodi. You will get suggestions.
Step 4: Now choose the Kodi application.
Step 5: On the app info tab, click on the Get tab to download and install the Kodi app.
Step 6: After the installation, tap the Launch button.
How to Stream Kodi on Xbox 360 and Xbox One: From Microsoft Store
This would require a Windows PC. And login to the same Microsoft account that you used to login to your Xbox.
Step 1: Turn on your Windows PC. And connect it to the internet.
Step 2: Press the Windows button. Or go to Start.
Step 3: Scroll down and choose the Microsoft Store application. Click to launch the app.
Step 4: Make sure to log in to the Microsoft account that you used in the Xbox console. Only then we can install the app on Xbox.
Step 5: Now, hover to the Search bar. And type Kodi.
Step 6: From the search results, choose the Kodi application.
Step 7: On the app installation page, click on Install on Xbox One. Wait for the installation to complete.
Step 8: You will receive the notification states, “Kodi is ready to launch on Xbox.” Now go back to the screen and launch the app.
How to Get Kodi on Xbox One and 360 Via UPnP or DLNA
If you have the Kodi app on any of the other compatible devices like PC or smartphone, you can install the app on Xbox using UPnP or DLNA from app settings.
Step 1: On your smartphone or PC, open the Kodi app. And then choose the Settings option on the homepage.
Step 2: Then navigate to System Window. Now choose the Service Settings.
Step 3: On the left panel, you can find UPnP/DLNA. Select it.
Step 4: Under the General section, click on the Share my libraries option.
Step 5: Hover to Allow remote control via UPnP. Toggle the switch to enable it.
Step 6: On your Xbox Console, choose the Media player option. You can find the Media Center app installed.
Step 7: Now select the Media to start streaming the media center on your Xbox.
