Visit sling.com and sign up for a Sling TV plan, which is convenient for you. There are currently three subscription plans available on Sling TV: Orange, Blue, and Orange + Blue. The Orange plan ($20/month) provides access to 30 channels, the blue plan ($20/month) provides access to 45 channels, and the Orange + Blue plan ($35/month) streams more than 50 channels.

How to download and install Sling TV on Firestick?

Step 1: On your Firestick home screen, navigate to the Search icon.

Step 2: The on-screen keyboard will appear. With the help of your remote, type, and search for Sling TV.

How to use Sling TV on Firestick?

Step 1: Launch the Sling TV app that you downloaded.

Step 2: Click the menu, which is labeled as Sign In.

Step 3: Provide the email id & password that you used to sign up for Sling TV.

Step 4: The app will display four menus on the main screen:

  • MY TV
  • ON NOW
  • GUIDE
  • SPORTS

Step 5: Click the +Add menu and add your favourite channels for quick access.

Cast Sling TV to Firestick using an Android device

Android users can also watch Sling TV content on Amazon Fire TV Stick by using their Android smartphone.

Step 1: First of all, connect your Firestick and Android device to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 2: Now, press and hold your Alexa enabled Firestick remote and select the mirroring menu.

Step 3: On your Android device, launch the Sling TV app and select a live TV channel.

Step 4: Once the channel started to stream, look for the cast icon on the media player.

Step 5: Click the cast icon and select your Firestick device.

Step 6: Now, the media will stream on the Firestick connected TV.

Can’t find Sling TV on Firestick

If you can’t find the Sling TV app on Amazon App Store, the app is geo-restricted on your location. You can use apps like downloader, ES File Explorer, and Aptoide TV to download and install Sling TV outside the US. But, the geo-restrictions on Sling TV will prevent you from watching the media contents. On the other hand, Sling TV requires a valid US address while signing up. So it highly impossible to watch Sling TV outside the US.

If the Sling TV app on Firestick has stopped working, you can fix it easily by

  • Ensure that your Firestick was connected to a standard internet connection.
  • Clearing the app cache (Settings > Apps > Manage installed applications > Sling TV > Clear cache and data).

  • Restart your Amazon Firestick.
