How to Update Vizio Smart TV Automatically
Step 1: Whenever your Vizio TV is connected to the internet, it will check for the updates regularly.
Step 2: If there is any update, the file will be downloaded automatically.
Step 3: When your TV is turned off, the firmware on your Vizio Smart TV will be updated.
Step 4: When you turn on the TV, a notification stating “new update was installed” will appear on the TV.

How to Update Vizio Smart TV Manually
The following manual method is only applicable for users having Vizio Smartcast TVs.
Step 1: Press the V key on your Vizio TV remote.
Step 2: Scroll down to select System menu.
Step 3: On the next screen, select Check for Updates.
Step 4: The TV will check for the latest update.
Step 5: If there is an update, download the update on your TV. While downloading, you can use your TV as usual.
